1923-24 Tomas Gutierrez card #6 of Negro Leaguer Pedro Dibut, pictured as a member of the greatest team in the history of Cuba, the 1923-24 Santa Clara Leopardos. This is a blank back variation of the card and it appears to have been hand cut. It's not exactly clear how (or if) the blank back cards were issued, but they are clearly different from the Tomas Gutierrez album pages that are sometimes cut up into individual "cards." The card stock is similar to other Tomas Gutierrez cards. The number 6 has been written in pencil on the back, which corresponds to the number of his card in the regular set. It's possible there was a proof sheet of some sort that was cut up at some point as there have been other blank back cards that have surfaced. The cut appears to have been done at the time the card was issued as opposed to anything recent. Dibut is one of a handful of players who played in the Major Leagues, Negro Leagues, and the Cuban League.
