Lot Description  

1923-24 Tomas Gutierrez card #16 featuring Negro Leaguer Pablo "Champion" Mesa. Has a weird cut that looks like someone took scissors to it back in the 1920s. Mesa was part of the greatest outfield in Cuban baseball history. The 1923-24 Santa Clara team featured an outfield of Oscar Charleston, Alejandro Oms, and Champion Mesa. Legendary.
