Lot Description  

1948-49 Toleteros of Negro Leaguer, Johnny Britton. Graded an 88 (NM/MT) by SGC. Out of 281 cards from this set graded by SGC, only 29 have ever graded higher. This is the highest graded example of this card. SGC has only graded two examples. The next highest after this one is a 30. Johnny Britton and Jimmy Newberry were the first to integrate professional baseball in Japan when they debuted in 1952.
