Lot Description  

1946-47 Felices (Caramelo Deportivo) #122 featuring Negro Leaguer and future Major League star, Don Newcombe. This is Newcombe's earliest card, but what makes it truly is special is that it is one of the only baseball cards ever produced that pictures a player in a Negro League uniform. Newcombe is seen here as a member of the Newark Eagles. It is his only Cuban baseball card.
