1923-24 Billiken of Negro Leaguer Merven "Red" Ryan. Graded a 1 by PSA. Ryan was a core pitcher for the Hilldale teams of the 1920s and played in the first Negro League World Series in the summer after this card was issued. He is pictured on the card as a member of the Santa Clara team, considered the greatest team in the history of Cuban baseball.
