Original photograph of Negro Leaguer Bill Greason. He's pictured in street clothes while he was playing for Marianao during the 1950-51 season, his only one in Cuba. At 100 years old, Reverend Greason is the oldest living Negro Leaguer. He was teammates with a 17-year-old Willie Mays on the 1948 Birmingham Black Barons championship team. In 1954 Greason became the first Black pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. This an original Type 1 photo. It measures 4" by 6 1/4".
