1945 Mexican League In Action card featuring Negro Leaguers Ramon Bragaña and Silvio Garcia. Both players deserve plaques in Cooperstown, in my opinion. The In Action cards in the 1945 Mexican League set are significantly larger than the regular player cards. The regular cards measure a little under 2" by 2 3/4". The In Action cards measure around 2 3/4" by 4 1/4". SGC has graded this Authentic, "Evidence of trimming," which is interesting because all of these cards were hand-cut, and therefore all trimmed. One of the rare (shocking I say!) times the current graders at SGC have been totally incompetent.
PLEASE NOTE: While Ramon Bragaña is mentioned on the card, he was the batter who hit the ball and is not pictured on the card. Silvio Garcia is seen sliding into third.
