The 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo Napoleon Reyes card is one of the "Holy Grail" cards in the Cuban baseball card world. It was not issued with the other cards in the set and could only be obtained if you collected the other 99 cards and brought your album, with all the cards pasted into it, to the factory where they would paste card #73 into the album, completing your set. The best comparison to an American card would be the 1933 Goudey Lajoie.
What is truly incredible about this example is the condition. Not only is it the highest graded example of the Reyes card, it is the highest graded example of ANY card from the set! As of this writing, there have been 483 cards from this set graded by SGC. The highest grade any card has received is a 50. That's happened 3 times. There are 3 cards that ever graded a 50, and one of them happens to be the Reyes, by far the rarest card in the set. This card in this condition is a "Holy Grail" card for even the most advanced Cuban baseball card collection.
