Have you ever seen a 1928 Billiken y La Moda card? Probably not. That's because only two examples are known to exist. This is one of them, #19 Horace Ford. According to the reverse, they made 26 cards in this set. All of them feature players on the Cincinnati Reds. This makes sense because the Cuban legend Adolfo Luque was a member of this team, so it was probably as a tribute to him that they made cards of him and his team. Unfortunately, only two examples have survived, that we know of. There is also a Billiken y La Moda 8" by 10" photographic premium that features the entire team. An incredibly rare Cuban type card.
