1948-49 El Indio #35 featuring Negro Leaguer and Major Leaguer Hank Thompson. Thompson helped to integrate two Major League teams, alongside two HOFers. He helped integrate the St. Louis Brown with Willard Brown in 1947. He was out of the Majors for two years, and then helped integrate the New York Giants alongside HOFer Monte Irvin. This card was issued while he was between teams.
