Original snapshot of Negro Leaguer Crush Holloway posing with a bat in his Hilldale uniform. This originated in the estate of Holloway's daughter, who has written "My Dady and How. Decoration Day Hill Dale 1929" on the front. Decoration Day is what Memorial Day used to be called. On the reverse it says "Crush Holloway. Just a Baby from Home. its Tight like that." I don't know if that's his signature, or more of his daughter's writing. My guess is it's written by his daughter. Measures 3.5" by 5.5"
