1949-50 Ansco card of Al Gionfriddo. Great image of Gionfriddo reminiscent of his legendary catch in game 6 of the 1947 World Series robbing Joe DiMaggio. He only played in 41 games with the Brooklyn Dodgers (including the postseason) but his catch remains one of the most famous plays in the history of the team.

This card was issued in Cuba and is one of the rarest issues produced there. There are only a couple of examples that have the "Foto Sport Art" stamp on the reverse. This is one of them. Measures about 3 1/8 by 3 7/8.
