Lot Description  

Original Puerto Rican League contract for Negro Leaguer Bob Thurman for the 1948-49 season. Thurman received $125 per week, plus a round trip ticket and room and board to play for Santurce. It has been signed by Thurman and also has his fingerprint. It has also been signed twice by owner, Pedro Zorilla.
